Veramonte Winery
"Alto de Casablanca" has the bigger adjoining vineyards of Chile, with an area of more than 350 hectares in the best wine producing area of Casablanca Valley. In 1990, Agustín Huneeus chose this place for Veramonte, conscious of the fact that the micro weather and soil of this beautiful valley were similar to those in the well-known wine producing regions of Napa Valley and Carneros in California. The winery’s administrator uses the latest technological advances in wine production in order to produce the best quality fruit. He carefully manages the production by controlling the irrigation and experimenting different kinds of pruning in order to optimize the ripeness of the grapes. He limits his production between five and seven tons per hectare to get high quality and intense color grapes, definition and concentration. Veramonte wines started being sold in Chile in 1996, and from that date is has been very well considered internationally for its Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Primus, a red wine that has an intense flavor and a great personality, that is a combination of Carmenčre (a noble varietal from Burdeos that nowadays is virtually Chilean) with Cabernet Sauvignon.

William Cole Winery
After a successful career in the United States, where he was the owner of an important software Company, William Cole decided to fulfill a dream he had always had: to produce fine wines, combining technology and knowledge. The result of this is a beautiful winery in the Casablanca Valley. And the wines? He invites you to discover the result of his dream.

Itinerary:
10:00 Pick up at the hotel to Casablanca Valley, about 80 Km to the west of Santiago de Chile. Going along beautiful valleys.
11:30 Visit and tasting at Veramonte Winery.
13:00 lunch break.
15:00 Visit and tasting at William Cole Winery.
16:30 Return to Santiago de Chile.
Return to the hotel at 6 pm approximately.
